Doug Knopper, Media-Tech Industry Leader, Appointed to Tide Foundation Advisory Board.
PALO ALTO, California 9 Dec 2019 6am PT – In the lead up to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) taking effect, Tide Foundation, an open source privacy technology venture, have announced the timely appointment of Doug Knopper to their advisory board to establish a foothold in the U.S.
Knopper, an active advisor and board member to many companies, was co-Founder/co-CEO of FreeWheel, which was acquired by Comcast in 2014 for $375 million. Prior to FreeWheel, he spent six years as General Manager at DoubleClick in New York and London, and was part of its initial $1.1 billion sale. In addition, he previously held numerous senior roles at advertising agencies and broadcasting companies, including Chiat Day, Lowe, JWT, and Bonneville Broadcasting.
